How do I add this signature to Gmail?

Copy the HTML, then in Gmail go to Settings → See all settings → General → Signature. Create a signature and paste directly into the editor box. Gmail keeps the formatting when you paste rendered HTML rather than raw code.

Does it work with Outlook and Apple Mail?

Yes. Outlook desktop and Apple Mail both accept pasted HTML signatures. Outlook on the web is the fussiest of the group and occasionally strips spacing, so check how it looks by sending yourself a test message before rolling it out to your team.

Why don't you use images or logos in the signature?

Many email clients block remote images by default, which would leave a broken box where your logo should be. This generator uses HTML and text styling so the signature renders reliably everywhere, including when images are switched off.

Is my information stored anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Close the tab and the data is gone. That also means there's no way to retrieve a signature later, so save the HTML somewhere once you've generated it.

Should I put social links in my email signature?

Include only the ones you actively maintain. A dead Twitter account from 2019 does more harm than no link at all. For most local service businesses, a phone number, website, and Google review link outperform social icons.

Can my whole team use the same signature format?

Yes — generate one per person using the same brand colour and layout. Consistent signatures across a team look more established than everyone improvising their own, and it takes a couple of minutes per person.
